Learning at Woods

Planting Roots, Growing Wings
Woods provides a unique learning environment where children connect with nature while exploring the British curriculum through hands-on experiences. Our outdoor natural playgrounds and learning activities take education beyond the classroom walls.
At Woods we aim to nurture holistic growth in our students. We view education at this young age not solely through the lens of academic achievements, but also as a crucial time for developing essential social skills, fostering emotional intelligence, instilling strong values, and refining motor skills. We believe that strong foundational learning thrives in a natural setting, enabling children to reach their full potential.
Woods Educational Philosophy
At Woods School, we offer a vibrant, experiential learning environment designed to nurture each child's potential through a nature-infused British curriculum. By blending the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 frameworks with a focus on holistic development, STEAM education, and play-based learning, we inspire a love of discovery and environmental stewardship, alongside academic readiness.
We welcome children from all backgrounds, religions, and nationalities, providing a nurturing environment where they can develop confidence, competence, and a deep appreciation for nature.
Our graduates are well-prepared for a variety of educational paths, including the British National Curriculum, the new Kenyan CBC, American, French, Dutch, and other European systems.
